Whaaaaaaaat!
The Taipei Clinic is on, folks, and I'm excited. You get the idea from the video, but here are the juicy details:
- The clinic will be Friday, October 23, in the afternoon or early evening, at a location still to be nailed down. (Thanks to the folks who are helping me do that!)
- I'll be discussing the things you told me you wanted to hear about, and giving a few of you an opportunity to play for me. In fact, let's do this: when I open up the cart next Monday, the first 3 people to sign up will be guaranteed an opportunity to play.
- 17 people have already signed up, and the space isn't huge, so I'll have to limit ticket sales.
I'LL BE OPENING UP DISCOUNTED "EARLY BIRD" TICKETS NEXT MONDAY, FOR FOUR DAYS ONLY, BUT A WEIRD IDIOSYNCRASY OF THE VISA LAWS MEANS YOU GET A BIG BONUS FOR SIGNING UP.
You see, I want to make sure I'm on the right side of the law. That means I can't accept money for services rendered while I'm in the country on a tourist visa.
But I can sell you my video, Faster Hands, at a discount, then give the clinic for free as a "thankyou". Just present your payment confirmation email when you arrive.
So it's win/win/win - you get a clinic and a copy of one of the videos I'm most proud of (preview here), complete with transcriptions as a bonus just for signing up, and I get to give a clinic in your home town without running afoul of visa laws.
